Step 1: Contact Us

Step 2: Get Pre-Approved

We require our clients to be pre-approved with a local lender of their choice before we schedule showings. Once you get pre-approved, you can see as many homes as you like.  Whether it's 1 hour notice or 1 week notice, we get our clients into homes they want to see. Already pre-approved? It is important to use a local lender rather than an online lender. Online lenders have a reputation for handing out “pre-approval” letters with little or no verified information. These lenders carry little weight with sellers when making an offer.

Working with a local lender shows us that you are serious about buying a home. Plus, we want you to be as successful as possible when making offers on homes, and having a local lender makes any offer stronger.

Step 3: Find Houses

During the Glass House Real Estate rebate process, you identify the homes you want to visit. We take home tours very seriously and ensure our clients can see homes on their schedule. Choose the houses you're interested in and contact your Glass House Real Estate rebate agent with the information. We'll schedule the showings with salaried field agents who will meet you at the home.

We make scheduling showings as easy as possible for you. Simply call, text or email your agent and he or she will schedule the showings. Our full-time agents are accustomed to showing homes on short notice, including evenings and weekends.

Too busy to search the MLS everyday? No problem, simply let your agent know what your search criteria is and we will set up an automated listing alert so you never miss a home. 


Step 4: Close the Deal and Receive the Rebate

When traditional real estate agents represent a buyer, they are paid a commission; usually 3% of the sales price. With Glass House Real Estate, your agent will keep 1.5% of the sales price or $6,500, whichever is higher and the remaining commission, up to 1.5% of the sales price, is rebated back to you for doing the initial legwork in searching for homes.

The rebate is usually applied toward your closing cost or issued as a check after closing with lender approval.
